Dry River ‘Amaranth’ ‘Craighall’ Martinborough Riesling 1998

Riesling from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 22-Nov-2013
Bright golden yellow colour, this is concentrated with intense aromas of lime, honey and toast and tertiary petrolly notes. The palate is dry and beginning to dry out a little, and a little oxidation showing, but the line of lime and toasty fruit and underlying acidity quite a feature. This is well-matured and beyond, but holds its varietal base. 17.5+/20 Nov 2013
