Drummond Farm Long Walk Rosé 2020, Martinborough

Rosé from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 09-Jun-2021
Bright, even, rose-gold with some depth. The nose is gently full, aromas of red fruit and floral hints accompanied by barnyard nuances. Medium-light bodied, aromas of strawberries, raspberries have a taut core, melded with a touch of cream, subtle spices linger with a savoury edge and orange peels. The mouthfeel is rounded and creamy, lengthen by a vibrant acid line. Match with charcuteries over the next 2 years. Organic and dry-farmed Pinot Noir, pressed over 4 hours to extract colour, fermented in stainless steel to 13% alc, 2 g/l RS. 17+/20 pts (86 pts) June 2021 RRP $30
