Domaine Sarragousse Coteaux d’Aix en Provence Rosé 2015

Rose from France - Other
Review Date : 13-Aug-2016
Bright, light, strawberry-peach pink colour. The nose is light with a gently concentrated core of subtle red berry fruits and red florals along with some mouthwatering mineral elements, unfolding hints of savoury nutty notes. Dry to taste and light-medium bodied, the palate possesses a rounded heart of savoury cranberry and pomegranate fruit notes entwined with nutty elements. The mouthfeel is soft and smooth-flowing and has a gentle, thirst-quenching line that leads to a soft, concentrated, dry finish with pomegranate flavours and light, crisp acidity. This is a softly concentrated dry rosé with light fruit flavours and a gently mouthwatering palate. Serve as an aperitif and with antipasto over the next 18 months. From the Robaldo family with 20 ha on Rognac. A blend of Grenache Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Carignan and Cinsault, cool-fermented to 12.0% alc., the wine aged on lees. 15.5-/20 Aug 2016 RRP $18.95
