Domaine Pierre Gelin Chambertin ‘Clos de Beze’ Grand Cru 2006

Pinot Noir from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 28-Aug-2012
Based in Fixin. From 0.6 ha, 13.5% alc. Light garnet red colour, pale on rim. This is very elegant and fine on bouquet, with subtle aromas and perfumes unfolding in the glass, fresh dark berry fruits and florals with some lift, and some secondary interest apparent. More elegantly sized on palate, still quite tightly bound, and somewhat less dimension, but well-balanced with good freshness and acidity and good tannin extraction, all in proportion. An elegant rendition of Clos de Beze, to go 8-10+ years. 18.0/20 Aug 2012
