Domaine Lamarche Bourgogne 2009

Pinot Noir from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 01-Apr-2012
Based in Vosne-Romanee and best known for its ownership of monopole grand cru 'La Grande Rue'. Light ruby-red colour, with a pale edge showing some youthful purple hues. The nose is subtle and ethereal with lifted and perfumed soft red fruits, along with oak spices and subtle herb elements. Medium-bodied, this is a slender wine in construction, more sinewy that sweet or rich. Floral and red fruit flavours are subtly expressed and the acidity is noticeable. While on the austere side, this has drive and length. Drink over the next 2-4 years. 16.0/20 Mar 2012 RRP $39.00
