Domaine Faiveley Chambertin ‘Clos de Beze’ Grand Cru 2007

Pinot Noir from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 17-Jul-2012
From 1.3 ha of holdings. Light ruby-red colour, lighter on edge., this is very full and even in expression, quite voluminous with ripe red berry fruit aromas along with layers of savoury secondary dried herb elements, smoke, toast and earth unfolding from a good, deep core. Medium-full bodied, the fruit has richness and a degree of lusciousness, with succulent red berry and cherry flavours. Some dried herb elements and lacy acidity sit alongside restrained tannin textures, resulting in a firm, slightly lean aspect to the palate line. This is an elegant, forward Clos de Beze that will drink well over the next 6-10 years. 18.0-/20 Jul 2012 RRP $464.95
