Domaine Bruno Clair Chambertin ‘Clos de Beze’ Grand Cru 2006

Pinot Noir from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 28-Aug-2012
Based at Marsannay. From 0.95 ha, 13.0% alc. Light ruby-red colour with some depth. The bouquet is fine and elegant with tightly bound fresh, primary dark berry fruit aromas and subtle oak lift, still with good intensity. An elegantly proportioned wine, sweetly ripe dark red fruits feature, showing freshness and vibrant youthful character. Fine-grained tannins and lacy acid provide excellent balance and an accessibility, yet this will keep 7-9+ years, despite its smaller scale, due to its finesse. 18.0+/20 Aug 2012
