Domaine Armand Rousseau Chambertin ‘Clos de Beze’ Grand Cru 2006

Pinot Noir from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 28-Aug-2012
Based in Gevrey-Chambertin. From 1.42 ha, 13.5% alc. Light ruby-red with some depth, some garnet hues apparent. This has an elegant and intensely penetrating nose with subtle layers of dark red fruits and savoury-game and undergrowth from secondary development, the aromatic with attractive detail and interest. Elegantly presented, this has sweetly rich and lusciously ripe fruit flavours, quite openly accessible. Complexing flavours emerge in the glass. There is a core of tannic structure and fresh acid underneath, which becomes prominent and features on the finish which is firm in texture. 7-9 years. 18.0+/20 Aug 2012
