Hand-picked fruit, WBP and stainless-steel fermented to 12.8% alc. and 7 g/L RS, TA 8.53 g/L and pH 2.88. Brilliant, very pale straw colour with slight green hues on rim. This has a very elegant and pure nose with pristine lime and lemon fruit aromas entwined with flinty mineral elements and delicate white floral perfumes. This has excellent clarity and is mouthwatering. Medium-bodied and dry to off-dry in taste, this has refined but intense flavours of lime, lemon, minerals and flint, revealing subtle nuances of toast. The mouthfeel is smooth and sleek with a very fine textural thread, and the palate is bright, with liveliness, vitality, tension and poise. This has excellent linearity and the wine leads to a sustained, dry, thirst-quenching finish. This is a fine-textured, smooth-flowing, mouthwateringly dry Riesling with fruit clarity. Serve as an aperitif and with seafood over the next 5-6 years. 18.5/20 Oct 2014 RRP $25.00
