Domain Road ‘Duffers Creek’ Central Otago Riesling 2010

Riesling from New Zealand - Otago
Review Date : 24-May-2011
Bright, pale straw-yellow colour with youthful green hues, this has a softly full, elegantly expressed bouquet of lime fruit, honeysuckle and minerals. There is good depth to the nose and a touch of reduction at this young stage. Off-dry to taste, this is an elegant and gently effusive wine with flowing floral and honey notes. Soft acidity and the gentlest textures allow the fruit to unfold and show its beauty. This is the medium-dry Riesling of Domain Road. Estate fruit from Bannockburn cool-fermented to 13.0% alc. and 12.5 g/L rs. Match with Thai, Vietnamese or Japanese cuisine over the next 4-5+ years. 18.0-/20 May 2011 RRP $23.00
