Bright candy floss pink with some depth, pale on rim. The nose is light and fresh with delicately lifted floral aromas along with strawberry and cherry fruit, and confectionary notes. The aromatics grow in volume and depth in the glass, revealing a mouthwatering mineral core. Dryish to taste and light-medium bodied, the fruit flavours of strawberries, cherries and fruit pastilles are underlined by fine-grained textures. The extraction provides a dry core and linearity to balance the lifted, confectionary notes. The mouthfeel is fresh from good acidity, which carries the palate with the phenolics to a light, lively and juicy, aromatic finish. This is a light, pretty, aromatic Pinot Noir Rosé with some juiciness balanced by fine, dry textures. Serve as an aperitif, with canapes, and n al fresco dining over the next 2 years. Hand-picked Pinot Noir fruit from the ‘Domain Road’ vineyard, given 24 hours skin contact and fermented to 13.0% alc. and 6 g/L RS. 17.0+/20 Oct 2014 RRP $23.00
