Dog Point ‘Section 94’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2008

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 30-Nov-2014
Even straw-yellow colour with slight golden hues. The bouquet is softly presented and very full, the nutty, creamy barrel-ferment showing prominently along with a touch of vanilla. The fruit aromas are in the background. On palate this is broad and mouthfilling with secondary flavours of yellow stonefruits and yellow capsicums with some toasty oak interest. This is gentle, rich and full, quite mellow, tapering off a little on finish. The wine has developed with harmony, and drinks well now. 14.0% alc., 3.4 g/L RS, 18 months in older French oak. 18.0/20 Oct 2014 RRP $N/A
