Dog Point ‘Section 94’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2005

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 30-Nov-2014
Even, pale gold colour. The bouquet is soft and broad with yellow stonefruits and dried fruits with some oak elements. In the mouth, very soft, smooth and harmonious, the yellow stonefruits mellow and gentle in aromatic expression. This is becoming straightforward now, but still with residual sweetness, becoming somewhat flatter through the palate to the finish. Sure this is fading, but the degree of vinosity is surprising. Marks for that alone. 13.5% alc., 3.3 g/L RS, 18 months in older French oak. 17.0-/20 Oct 2014 RRP $N/A
