Dark ruby-red colour. The nose is full and bold with rich, ripe aromas of dark raspberries with a layering of dark plums and complex secondary nuances of dried herbs and undergrowth. Fulsome and powerful in structure, the fruit is plush and dense, still showing plenty of freshness and youth with only the beginnings of development. Violet florals and sweetness is prevalent. The tannin extraction is very refined and satiny in flow, but the structure is significant. This is opulent and has the tannin structure to see it age well. 14.0% alc., the wine aged 18 months in new and seasoned French oak. 19.0/20 Oct 2014 RRP $N/A Dark, deep, purple-hued ruby-red colour. The bouquet is full with complex waves of ripe dark berry fruits entwined with positive, complex savoury, sour cherry fruit, earth, leather, game and smoke nuances. Fullish bodied, flavours of sweetly ripe dark berry and plum fruit fill the palate. This is lush and juicy and quite complete in presence. Fine, grainy tannin structure and fresh acidity enlivens the mouthfeel, and provides a youthful core, outlook. Flavours of savoury plums, violet florals and oak toast emerge and carry through to a rich and sustained finish. This is a full, sweet and rich, flavoursome Pinot Noir with complexity and a complete balance. Six clones of Pinot Noir employed grown primarily on clay soils, hand-picked, given a cold soak and indigenous yeast fermented to 14.0% alc., the wine spending 21-28 days on skins and aged 18 months in new and seasoned French oak barrels. 19.5-/20 Aug 2013 RRP $44.99 Very dark ruby-red colour, this has a powerful and fulsome nose packed with ripe dark berry and cherry aromas, and some oak lift. Full-bodied, rich and quite plush in mouthfeel with rich and ripe fruits, plums and berries with oaks and spices. This is a wine with breadth and mouthfilling with concentrated and up-front, bold flavours backed by good tannin structure. Showing extremely well now. 19.0+/20 Jan 2013 Fermented to 14.0% alc., the wine aged in new and seasoned French oak barrels has a deep, purple-hued ruby-red colour, youthful in appearance, the bouquet is full of vibrant dark plum and cherry-berry aromas with hints of violet florals, earth and minerals adding notes of interest. Ripeness and fruit richness are allied to brightness on the nose. Medium-full bodied, the ripe dark plum fruit flavours show waves of spices and liquorice alongside lifted violet florals. The palate has succulence, and a sense of harmony pervades, with fine-grained supple tannins supporting the fruit and integrated, unobtrusive acidity. A linger spicy finish is a highlight.
