Dog Point Marlborough Pinot Noir 2008

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 30-Nov-2014
Very dark, deep ruby-red, still youthful in appearance. The bouquet is tight, firmly bound and shy, with aromatic dark fruits and floral fragrances unfolding. Full and even in presentation, the palate blossoms in volume showing red berry fruits, plums with savoury secondary interest. The fruit has supple tannins and soft acidity, and the wine is well-balanced, with moderate depth. A more elegant, even wine that is drinking well now. 14.0% alc., the wine aged 18 months in new and seasoned French oak. 18.0+/20 Oct 2014 RRP $N/A
