Dog Point Marlborough Pinot Noir 2005

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 30-Nov-2014
Very dark-hearted red with garnet. The nose is full and bold with ripe aromas of sweet and savoury red berry fruits along with cooked plums entwined with earth and game meat nuances. Very full on palate, soft, plush, juicy flavours of plums and dark berryfruits are interwoven with secondary mushroom, bramble and game flavours. This is well into the secondary phase. The palate features strong structure, grip and extract, which carries the wine. 14.0% alc., the wine aged 18 months in new and seasoned French oak. 18.0-/20 Oct 2014 RRP $N/A
