Dirler Alsace Grand Cru Pinot Gris ‘Kessler’ 2008

Pinot Gris from France - Alsace
Review Date : 08-Sep-2011
Very pale straw-yellow colour with a pale edge, this has a slightly savoury white stonefruit aroma, with freshness and youthful firmness. Dryish to taste, this is medium-full bodied at 13.0% alc., the palate possessing depth, some richness ad balanced acidity allowing accessibility. Some ‘sweet and sour' and aldehyde-like notes are present and are a slight detraction to an otherwise classically structured wine.  Sep 2011
