Delta Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 17-Sep-2016
Pale straw-yellow colour with a little depth, pale on the rim. The nose is gently full with fresh, mouthwatering aromas of pungent passionfruit with nuances of tropical fruits, along with snow peas, fresh herbs and mineral nuances. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate possesses softly refreshing passionfruit flavours with notes of tropical fruits, herbs and snow peas. The mouthfeel is dry with soft, grainy phenolic textures underlining the fruit. The palate has a crisp acid line providing drive that carries the tight core to a lingering, dry-textured, thirst-quenching finish of passionfruit. This is a fresh, pungent passionfruity Sauvignon Blanc with a dry, thirst-quenching palate. Serve with salads, vegetables and Pacific Rim fare over the next 2 years. Fruit from a single site in Dillons Point, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.0% alc. and 2.8 g/L RS. 17.5+/20 Sep 2016 RRP $22.00
