Delta Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 04-Apr-2016
Bright, very pale straw-yellow colour with slight green hues, near colourless on the rim. The nose is fresh and tightly bound with intense aromas of passionfruit and green capsicums along with savoury tropical fruit notes, pungent herbs and earthy and mineral detail. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate possesses a well-proportioned and concentrated core of passionfruit and pungent herb flavours. The mouthfeel is luscious and lively, with slippery mouthwatering acidity. The wine flows smoothly and harmoniously, the racy acidity leading to an elegant, lingering dry finish. This is an elegant, passionfruity and pungent herb-fruited Sauvignon Blanc with a slippery, smooth and racy mouthfeel. Match with salads and vegetables, and Mediterranean fare over the next 2 years. Fruit predominantly from the Dillons Point district, cool-fermented to 13.0% alc. 18.0-/20 Apr 2016 RRP $22.00
