Delta ‘Hatter’s Hill’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 17-Sep-2016
Bright, even, pale straw-yellow colour. The nose is firm and tight, with intense, penetrating aromas of white stonefruits melded with notes of passionfruit, gooseberries and green stonefruits along with mineral nuance and subtle secondary green bean hints. The aromatics are refreshing and steely. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, fine and tightly concentrated flavours of white and green tonefruits show with white florals, herbs and minerals, and suggestions of secondary green bean flavours. The palate is refined and smooth-flowing with very subtle textures, and crisp, racy acidity providing energy and linear drive, leading to a long, lingering finish of herbs and minerals. This is a refined, tight, brisk and fine-featured Sauvignon Blanc with white and green stonefruit, herb and mineral flavours. Serve as an aperitif and with seafood over the next 2+ years. Fruit from a single vineyard in Dillons Point, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.0% alc. and 3.0 g/L RS. 18..0+/20 Sep 2016 RRP $27.00
