Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 21-Apr-2023
Bright, even, pale yellow. The nose is lush and soft, packed with aromas of ripe pear, red apple, lily, spice and a suggestion of honey. Medium-bodied, dry to taste, aromas of ripe orchard fruit intertwined with citrus, lemon zest, lily and white pepper. Fine-textured phenolics reminiscent of citrus peels flow with lively acidity to a crisp, saline finish. This dry Pinot Gris is forwarded with citrus and orchard fruit, fresh acidity and a textured mouthfeel. Match with fish tacos and chicken terrine over the next 2-3 years. 18/20 pts (90 pts) Apr 2023 RRP $20
