Dashwood Marlborough Pinot Noir 2010

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 09-Apr-2014
Ruby-red colour with good depth, this has a fresh bouquet of ripe dark chery and raspberry fruit aromas with a soft, red floral lift. Medium-bodied, bright juicy and lush fruit flavours of dark cherries, raspberries and plums with nuances of spice feature on the fulsome palate, supported by soft-textured, moderately extracted tannins. The mouthfeel is supple and richly sweet, with balanced, lacy acidity providing liveliness to the palate line, leading to a long, fruit-driven, fine, grainy finish. This is a fresh, fruit-driven, flavoursome and juicy Pinot Noir with supple structure. Serve with poultry and pork over the next 4-5 years. Pinot Noir fruit from the Awatere and Wairau sub-regions, fermented to 13.8% alc., the wine aged in stainless-steel and French oak. 17.5+/20 Nov 2012 RRP $18.99
