Daisy Hill Sparkling Rosé NV

Sparkling Wine from New Zealand - Other
Review Date : 25-Nov-2011
Bright, pale, salmon-pink colour, pale on rim, with a moderately persistent and fine bead. This has a soft and gentle, full nose of ripe strawberries, red florals and soft red fruits, clean and with vinous presence. Off-dry to taste, this has a subtly luscious core of strawberry fruit and savoury cherry and floral notes on a medium-bodied palate with balancing effervescence and soft acidity for freshness. The flavours are attractively up-front and immediately appealing and linger on the finish. A blend of Pinot Noir supported by Chardonnay fermented to 12.5% alc and 17 g/L rs. An accessible, gently luscious and pretty sparkling rosé to serve as an aperitif and with antipasto over the warmer summer months. 16.5+/20 Nov 2011 RRP $9.99
