Craggy Range ‘Te Muna Road Vineyard’ Martinborough Riesling 2013

Riesling from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 03-Jun-2014
Very pale straw colour, the nose is very refined and tightly held with pure and softly focussed aromas of lime fruit and minerals, quite mouthwatering and near steely, revealing subtle honeysuckle notes in the glass. Off-dry to taste, the palate is very elegant and finely presented, showing a touch of lively spritz allied to fresh, thirst-quenching, ripe acidity. Delicately succulent fruit flavours and a refined textural line feature and carry through to a long, sustained finish. This is a classy off-dry Riesling of purity, focus and finesse. 5-6 years development ahead. Fermented in stainless-steel partially by indigenous yeasts to 11.7% alc., 9.8 g/L RS, TA 8.8 g/L and pH 2.9. 19.0/20 May 2014 RRP $26.95
