Craggy Range ‘Te Muna Road Vineyard’ Martinborough Riesling 2011

Riesling from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 14-Oct-2011
Brilliant light straw colour with green hues and a pale edge. The bouquet has a deep core of lime juice, jasmine florals and wet stones, showing delicacy and style. Off-dry, this is tightly bound with very fine textures through the palate, the wine with focussed flavours of limes, exotic florals and notes of flint and minerals. The acidity is lacy and refreshing, and adds to the lime nuances on the finish. Fruit totally hand-picked and WBP, fermented in stainless-steel to 12.5% alc. and 9.2 g/L rs. This tightly constructed wine should develop well over the next 5-6 years. Serve as an aperitif and with Asian cuisine. 18.0/20 Oct 2011 RRP $26.95
