Fruit hand-picked, WBP, and fully indigenous yeast barrique-fermented to 13.5% alc., the wine aged 10 months in 20% new French oak barriques. Full, even, pale straw-yellow colour with some depth. The nose is elegant with fine and effusive aromas of citrus fruit and yellow stonefruits interwoven with subtle nutty and creamy barrel-ferment notes, along with mealy detail. Medium-bodied, the palate features a gently concentrated and smooth core of soft yellow stonefruits, mealy and nutty notes and a touch of flint. The oaking is totally integrated, and the mouthfeel has a piquant acid lift and liveliness. The wine flows smoothly and with seamlessly refined phenolic textures, leading to a delicate, near ethereal finish.
