Cottier Gladstone Wairarapa Sauvignon Blanc 2010

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 05-May-2011
This wine is indicative of the cool, slow-ripening 2010 vintage. Bright, pale straw-yellow in colour with a pale green hue on edge, this has a light bouquet passionfruity, and showing maturing asparagus and bean notes along with minerally aromas. Dry on palate, this has crisp, bracing acidity and tight, cool, herbaceous fruit flavours along with pungent gooseberry and passionfruit notes and asparagus-like nuances. While modest in breadth, there is good depth and a gentle textured, drying finish. Serve with antipasto and shellfish over the next 2 years. 13.5% alc. 15.5+/20 May 2011 RRP $14.95
