Coto de Hayas Campo de Borja Bianco Fermentado 2010

Blended White from Spain
Review Date : 14-Jun-2012
50% Chardonnay, 45% Macabeo and 5% Muscatel, fermented in American oak to 12.5%, the wine spending 5 months in barrel. Pale straw in colour, fresh citrussy fruit notes show on nose, the oaking quite sensitive. Dry, crisp and clean, the citrussy fruit is laced by subtle oaking that builds. Acidity is the feature which drives the palate. Drink with seafood over the next 2-3+ years.  15.5/20  Jun 2012  RRP $16.90
