Bright straw-yellow colour with light golden hues, pale on rim. The bouquet is softly full with gently deep and harmoniously integrated aromas of gooseberries with subtle notes of tropical fruits and hints of green bean secondary development and green capsicums. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, this has a tight core of gooseberry and tropical fruits entwined with notes of capsicums, and some green bean secondary development. The palate has a light, dry-textured line with brisk, racy, mouthwatering acidity driving the palate. This has good linearity and vitality, and the wine carries to a sustained finish of tropical fruits, capsicums and beans. This is a tight, fresh, brisk and racy Sauvignon Blanc with flavours of gooseberries, tropical fruits, capsicums and green beans showing some secondary detail. Serve with salads and vegetables and Asian fare over the next 18 months to 2 years.
