Conspiracy Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay 2009

Chardonnay from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 19-Mar-2012
Bright, light golden-yellow colour, full and even. The bouquet is full and broad with plenty of ripe tropical fruits, melons and citrus fruits with buttery malolactic, nutty oak and oxidative complexities showing secondary development. Soft and open, this has gently rich, broad and burnished flavours of ripe tropical fruits, butter and nuts on a creamy-textured, mellow, low acid palate. This is fulsome and now tending a little flabby. The finish is smooth and moderately long. Fully mature, soft and totally integrated, this has the breadth and richness to serve with flavoursome pasta and pork dished over the next 18 months. 13.5% alc. 16.0-/20 Mar 2012 RRP $11.99
