The dry Riesling of Coney Wines, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.5% alc. and dryness. Brilliant pale straw-yellow colour with slight lemon-green hues, pale on rim. The bouquet is very finely presented with tightly concentrated and intense aromas of lime fruit infused with subtle secondary toasty notes, along with nuances of steely minerals. Dry to taste and light-weighted, flavours of limes and toast show with depth, possessing good drive and linearity. The acidity is fresh and balanced, with some phenolics present, the textures carrying the palate. Attractive honied nuances grow, along with toasty elements, leading to a firm, dry finish with a little grip. This is an elegant dry Riesling with some toasty secondary development and a textured line. Serve as an aperitif and with grilled seafood over the next 3+ years. 16.5+/20 Jun 2013 RRP $23.00
