Conde Valdemar Rioja Rosada 2014

Rose from Spain
Review Date : 27-Sep-2015
Pale purple-pink colour, youthful in appearance. The nose is fresh and well-fruited with up-front dark raspberry and cream aromas with confectionary lift, the aromatics showing good depth. Dry to taste, the flavours of raspberries and cream are lifted by some fruit pastille notes, alongside refreshing herbal elements. The mouthfeel is fresh and lively with mouthwatering acid piquancy and the win flows with tension along smooth textures. This is a fresh, modern, fruit-expressive wine. 70% Garnacha and 30% Viura, fermented to 12.5% alc. 17.5/20 Sep 2015 RRP $21.95
