Comte de Vogue Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru 2006

Pinot Noir from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 06-Feb-2011
Bright, medium-deep ruby red with purple hues to the colour. On bouquet, this was fresh and vibrant with red berry and cherry fruit aromas, cherry liqueur-like, somewhat hard however, and an individual tamarillo note. This unusual fruit character was presented on palate too. However, the wine had good concentration of dark cherry fruit, some oak resin, and pronounced acidity. Tannins were firm, but fine-grained.  Oct 2010
