A collaboration between Jeff Poole and Matt Dicey. Fruit from the Cromwell Basin cool-fermented to 13.5% alc. and 8.68 g/L RS. Bright, even straw-yellow colour, lighter on rim. The nose is elegantly intense and fine with aromas of white florals and white stonefruits, lifted by subtle exotic floral and honeysuckle notes, and refreshed by cutting mineral elements. Dry to taste and slender in proportion, the palate features bright and intense fruit flavours of lifted white florals, stonefruits, honey and steely minerals. The fruit is underlined by fresh, lacy acidity providing good linearity, carrying the wine to a dry finish with floral and honied notes. This is an elegant, crisp and racy, off-dry Pinot Gris with steely floral and gently honied fruit. Match with seafood and Asian cuisine. 224 cases made. 17.5/20 May 2014 RRP $19.99
