Clemens Busch Pundericher Marienburg Riesling Kabinett 2013

Riesling from Germany
Review Date : 03-Mar-2015
Bright, lemon-gold hued straw-yellow colour. The nose is softly full and densely packed with harmoniously interwoven aromas of white and yellow florals and delicate honied and musk notes. Very fine, complexing mineral and reductive flinty nuances add a detailed layer to the aromatics. Off-dry to taste, the palate has real vinosity and presence, with restrained, but rich layers of white and yellow stonefruits, florals and citrus fruits gently filling the mouth. The wine is well-structured with fine phenolic textures and soft, underlying acidity. This is rounded and integrated, and the wine leads to a long, dry, honied finish. This is a rounded, soft off-dry Riesling with considerable presence and layers of flavour. 5-6 years. 7.5% alc. 18.5-/20 Feb 2015 RRP $38.25
