Clemens Busch Pundericher Marienburg Riesling Auslese 2013

Riesling from Germany
Review Date : 03-Mar-2015
Very pale straw colour with slight green hues. The nose is tightly bound with refreshing, lively citrus and floral aromas entwined with honey and marmalade, musk and talc botrytis. The noses possesses a steely minerality enhancing he intensity, lending cut and clarity. Very sweet to taste and light-medium bodied, fresh and intensely lifted aromatic fruit flavours of limes and lemonade are interwoven with honey and musky botrytis. The richness is balanced by razor-sharp acid cut, and the wine flows smoothly, following a silken line. This has great precision, clarity and purity, and the palate leads to a very long, luscious but refreshingly poised finish. A classical Mosel Auslese. 10-12 years. 7.0% alc. 19.0/20 Feb 2015 RRP $75.00
