Clearview ‘Reserve’ Hawke’s Bay Sauvignon Gris 2010

Other White from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 06-Feb-2011
This is the first release of this varietal, fermented in old oak to 13.5% alc. and dryness at 2.0 g/L rs. Pale coloured, with a fresh, but soft gooseberry-herb bouquet, this is akin to a mild-mannered Sauvignon Blanc with its gentle nectarine-like flavours and acidity. The variety delivers good body and texture, and this Clearview interpretation possesses these qualities.  Jan 2010
