90% tank-fermented, with10% indigenous yeast fermented in barrel, to 12.86% alc. and 8.4 g/L RS, the wine aged 3 months on lees. Bright, very pale straw-yellow colour with a hint of blush, light on rim. Fresh, tight and pure, white stonefruit aromas unfold to reveal honeysuckle and savoury nutty nuances on the nose. Off-dry to taste, delicate flavours of white stonefruits intermingle with exotic florals and honey elements, forming a positive core. The mouthfeel is very soft and refined, and the flavours flow seamlessly through the palate. Gentle acidity underlines the fruit, providing good freshness and liveliness, and the wine leads to a stylish and elegant finish with red fruit notes. This is a smooth and seamless off-dry Pinot Gris with refined fruitiness. Serve with poultry dishes over the next 3-4 years. 17.0+/20 Oct 2013 RRP $20.00
