Sweet Wine from New Zealand - Marlborough

Bright, even, pale amber. The nose is softly full and attractive, with aromas of roasted peach and apricot melded with cream brulee and spice. Full-bodied, roasted peach and apricot aromas intertwined with pear, honey, cream brulee and white floral. The wine has good weight and an oily mouthfeel, with brilliant acid balance leaving a moreish finish. Match with grilled banana or apricot tart over the next 8+ years. Botrytis affected grapes, lightly pressed and poured back, left for 8 hours before pressed into barrels to complete fermentation. 12% alc, 160 g/l RS. 19/20 pts (95 pts) Feb 2023 RRP $28 (375 ml bottle)
