Deep, ruby-red underlined purple, lighter on the rim. The nose is gently full with depth and aromas of well-proportioned cedar, vanilla and spice overlying plum, cassis and blackberry. Full-bodied, aromas of cassis, blackberry and plum entwined with leather, cedar, violet and spice. The fruit shows balanced ripeness and concentration, glides along a juicy acid line. A smooth, creamy mouthfeel adorned with fine-grained tannin from refined oak and lends a long finish. This Waiheke Bordeaux Blend is elegantly composed with beautifully ripened fruit and acid balance, enriched and complexed by cedar and leather elements.
