Deep ruby-red, even colour throughout. The nose is gently rich, with aromas of plum, blackberry, blackcurrant, cedar and spice. Medium-full bodied, aromas of plum, blackcurrant and berries, melded with cedar, clove and nutmeg. Lively acidity provides freshness to the rich spice. The mouthfeel is smooth, redolent of milk chocolate and with a gentle tannin grip. The wine shows balance and power. Match with braised beef ribs and steak over the next 5+ years.
