Charles Wiffen Marlborough Pinot Rosé 2013

Rose from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 29-Aug-2013
Bright, moderately deep, purple-pink colour, youthful in appearance. This has a voluminous and deeply concentrated bouquet of strawberry and raspberry fruits lifted by confectionary notes and fermentation esters. Off-dry to taste, lively, lush and juicy flavours of raspberries, red florals and red confectionary fill the mouth with richness and depth. A subtle textured line supports the palate flow, with refreshing and mouthwatering acidity providing drive. The fruit brightness is the feature and provides a full, rounded and smooth mouthfeel that is carried to a long, flavoursome dry finish. This is a full, bold and juicy rose with bright, aromatic, raspberry fruit flavours and a dry finish. Serve as an aperitif and in al fresco dining occasions over the next 2 years. Clone 115 Pinot Noir saignéed and stainless-steel fermented to 13.3% alc. and 4.5 g/L RS. 18.0/20 Aug 2013 RRP $21.35 Disclaimer: This wine is distributed by ‘Wine2Trade’, the company under which ‘Raymond Chan Wine Reviews’ operates
