Chapoutier ‘Invitare’ Condrieu 2007

Viognier from France - Rhone
Review Date : 17-May-2011
Light golden in colour, with a soft, full and broad nose, fully mature with ripe apricot and savoury stonefruit aromas touched by a little nutty oxidation, becoming a little dull. Dry on palate, the flavours of apricots and ripe tropical fruits slowly grow. The wine is rich and oily in texture, the acidity on the low side. Richness is the feature, but the wine is near the end of its plateau. Drink up.  May 2011
