Chalk Hill Moscato 2011

Muscat from Australia - Other
Review Date : 17-Mar-2012
65% Muscat a Petit Grains from the ‘Slate Creek' vineyard, McLaren Vale, and 35% Orange Muscat from Liparoo, Victoria, fermented to 6.0% alc. Brilliant straw-yellow colour, lighter on edge, with soft bubbles. With a moderately full and voluminous nose, this has aromas of fresh grapes, musk and herbs, upfront and with some depth. Medium in sweetness, this is refreshingly light-bodied with tingling effervescence. Soft, fresh grape, citrus and musk flavours flow on a well-proportioned, stylish palate with a soft, lively mouthfeel. Upfront and easy, this has a balanced, sweeter finish. A gently sweet, slightly effervescent and refreshing light wine to serve as an aperitif over the next 2 years. 17.5-/20 Mar 2012 RRP AU$18.00
