Ch. Palmer Margaux 2010

Blended Red from France - Bordeaux
Review Date : 12-Nov-2015
3eme, 54% Me, 40% CS, 6% PV. Very dark, black-hued purple-red colour, vibrant and youthful. The nose is very fresh, elegantly proportioned with tightly bound aromas of vibrant dark red berry and plum fruit. This is ripe, sweet and aromatically lifted, unfolding floral notes then oak toastiness. The intensity of the aromatics is the feature along with the finesse of bouquet. Medium-bodied and very elegant in style, this is tight and near-slender in presentation, with sweetly ripe black and red berry fruit flavours. A touch of boysenberry and violet exoticism. The fruit has vitality and bright energy, enlivened by fresh, lacy acidity, the tannin extraction very refined and allowing the fruit to feature. This has precision, aromatic beauty and life. This will live 15+ years easily. 19.5-/20 Nov 2015 RRP $699.00
