Ch. Montrose St Estephe 2007

Cabernet Sauvignon from France - Bordeaux
Review Date : 25-Feb-2013
2eme, 95 ha, 65% CS, 10% CF, 25% Me. Very full, deep, dark ruby-red with youthful purple hues, this has a classically elegant, tight and finely expressed bouquet of ripe blackcurrant fruit and cassis with fragrant and spicy new oak. On palate, this is medium-full bodied with excellent concentration and depth of sweetly succulent, well-ripened black berry fruits, attractively backed by new oak. Tannin extraction is significant, but very fine-grained. This is a very stylish wine that will develop well with elegance over the next 10-15 years.  Jun 2011
