Ch. Haura Graves 2009

Cabernet Sauvignon from France - Bordeaux
Review Date : 20-Jun-2012
Prof. Denis Dubourdieu has a 25 year lease on the property, taken in 2002. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. Bright, deep ruby-red colour. This has an elegant and intense nose of dark red fruits with attractively fragrant spicy, cedary new oak alongside. Medium-full bodied, this has richness and concentration, showing ripe dark berry fruits allied to spices, cedary oak and a little gaminess in the background. The textures are silky and the elegance with depth is classical in proportion. The funkiness will become more complexing over the next 6-8+ years. 17.5-/20 Jun 2012 RRP $29.95
