Ch. Ferriere Margaux 2008

Cabernet Sauvignon from France - Bordeaux
Review Date : 29-Sep-2011
3eme, 8 ha, 53% CS, 20% Me, 5% PV Dark, deep ruby-red with youthful purple hues, this has a bright lifted bouquet with ripe dark berry fruits and plums along with floral perfumes and spicy, cedary oak. Medium-full bodied, this is an elegantly proportioned wine with bright dark berry and currant flavours, quite luscious in expression, infused with spicy new oak. There is plenty of brisk acidity lending good tension, adding to the fruit sweetness, and the tannins very fine-grained, resulting in supple textures and accessibility. An attractively supple, bright fruited wine that will keep 7-10 years. 17.5+/20 Sep 2011 RRP $99.00
