Ch. Ferriere Margaux 2007

Cabernet Sauvignon from France - Bordeaux
Review Date : 08-Jun-2011
3eme, 8 ha, 75% CS, 20% Me, 5% PV. Moderately deep, dark garnet-ruby red in colour, this has a deep and intense nose of vibrant dark red berry fruits with oak spices and a little inkiness. A full, lush and juicy fruited wine, the flavours of redcurrants and dark plums are tightly bound, providing good density to the palate. This is supported by oak lift, and fresh, bright acidity adding liveliness. Tannin extraction is moderate, and lends an elegant proportion to the wine. This will develop well over the next 8-10 years.  Jun 2011
