Ch. d’Yquem Sauternes 2008

Sweet Wine from France - Bordeaux
Review Date : 18-Mar-2016
Light golden-yellow colour. The aromatics are of fresh, primary fruit at the core, with lanolin and waxy Semillon fruit, still tightly bound, but there is no shortage of fine marmalade botrytis with balanced nutty oak. Beautifully clear and youthful fruit flavours of florals, lanolin and honey, with musk and marmalade botrytis and fine, firm oak. This balances elegance, freshness, crispness and stylish opulence. Brilliant in its youthfulness and with a long future ahead. 19.0+/20 Mar 2016 RRP $N/A
